Panasonic 25mm f/1.4 DG Summilux Field Test

On Friday me and my friends headed all the way to Cabramatta to see if we in luck to take some Accidental Hipsters that's hanging around the neighbourhood and to test out my lens out in the field.

Unfortunately we didn't see much hipsters, but my friends did take some nice shots. However I think I need more practise with my 25mm, estimating the distance and think about the composition because I think I was rushing my shots and taking photos without considering the framing.

We then headed over to Surry Hills trying to take more hipsters.

Enough talk, here were my best shots.

Men's Hair Care

First impressions are very important as most of you acknowledge by now, and everyone seems to look at people's faces first. So the groom of you face is crucial to distinguish you from others.

Some like it overgrown, some like it neat and tidy, but nevertheless it was taken care of before you step out of the house.

Some spend hundreds on their hair and some never do, but it represents who you are.

Surprisingly Auckland seems to have a fine barber shop for men to finer cut their hair too. Even th guys down at New Zealand have places like this goes to show how important it is to the rest of the modern world.

Benz x Film x Skateboard

An abandon theme park, perfect skating venue.

Every shot was done as if it was like a film, nicely thought out and very relaxed.

Just looks like a Sunday afternoon boarding session, wish I was there...

Anyway the kid Kilian Martin is apparaently shaking things up in the skateboard world with new tricks and I do agree, I mean even Mercedes is funding this video, do I need any more proof that this kid is good?

Monday Jam

My friends and I went down to Campbelltown to our friend Kenneth's place.

We chilled out and hang then the musicians took over. lol

Since I don't play music, I recorded it lol

Excuse my nose breathing, cause I was sick yesterday but enjoy.

MacDonald's Advertisement

I'm sorry I just realised I havent posted for a week so I decided to post something that everybody would be somehow interested in.

The Maccas photos always looks so so good and appetising, but usually what you see if not really what you get.

Here's a video that explains why.

Creative Lookbook Video

I'm so so so sick of fashion video that just make models walking in the forest, at the beach, some room while the sun is setting.

This fashion video I like, it's got a story, display all the range of colours and ways you can match the pants.

The story is fun, no-one gets harmed it's like a love it or hate it small video.

Provokes thought and makes it memorable.

Recreational Creavivity

In my opinion I always thought that people who are creative & positive has the most fun. Those kind of people always think of things to do for everyone. Even though sometimes their idea sucks, but going with their creativity, the process, the people your with, it'll always makes it fun again.

Need Supply Co. Spring Lookbook 2012

Need Supply Co. is a website that sells fashion clothing.

They have created a video to look at the styles they recommend in their stores for Spring/Summer.

What I love about this video is that they try to recreate the distinguish style of  Wes Anderson.

The 60s, 70s fashion styles, quirky characters and geometric camera angles.

This is a pretty good attempt of his style, so if you admire Mr. Anderson you should be taking notes.

'Just throw away your negativity': Feeling incapable or inadequate

A really good friend of mine gave me some great advice. Don't let negativity impact on your work/life. This seems simple enough and obvious enough, why would you put yourself down and undermine your own skills or

Life decisions: how do you choose it?

Ever changed courses around like 2-3 times? Or more? Trying to figure out where you're going to go afterwards? Or have you found your passion? I have but I don't want to follow it. This might be the biggest mistake of my life, but maybe living out your mistakes are what makes life interesting (or maybe I'm just saying that to make myself feel better?)

Where to next?

I just want to take an opportunity to talk about passion. As a person in my early twenties with complete motivation and drive to succeed, sometimes I can be thrown off a bit about what to succeed in. So lost about what I am to do and where I am to go, only knowing that I have the energy to go the distance. And I hear that a lot of recent graduates are feeling the same way. They're finally at the end of their degree, they face the world and its wealth of opportunities, but somehow something doesn't feel right. No clear direction jumps to mind, no job lined up for them, no career aspiration to be chasing in their respective degrees. They are not passionate about what they do and they want to go into
